Thumb Butte, PrescottLocated approximately four miles west of Prescott, Arizona, adjacent to Miller Creek. Restrooms with flush toilets and potable water are provided. This picnic area has twelve tables, nine grills, and one fire ring. Hiking is nearby. Area is lighted after dark, electric outlets provided (20 amp maximum). Volleyball court on site, bring ball and net. Horseshoe pits on site, bring shoes. Access to hiking trails.

 

DIRECTIONS:

1. Drive to Prescott (I-17)
2. Exit at Cordes Junction using HWY 69
3. When close to Prescott, continue on East Gurley/US-89, then take Thumb Butte Road (west of town)
4. Turn right into the Thumb Butte Campground.
